I've never seen this movie. I can't imagine being stranded on Mars - how scary. Makes me curious what mesmerizes the astronaut. Might have to check it out.

Now this is a haiku I can get behind. It was entertaining to me. Which very few haikus can do. I'm not sure which movie you were referring to but it could work for a lot of them. Very nice job.

This is a fun haiku that gives a clear picture of a mini movie. The image of the nerdy astronaut is fun and I can see him on a planet that wonders what he is. Excellent use of words and an enjoyable poem.
