I had no idea there is a tree kangaroo. How can you not dig in this reading when is starts with so much fun
I'd like to see a Kangaroo,
I've heard they have big feet
and hop as fast as horses run,
and they can swim a treat.

Easter Bunny!!! LOL, he does, doesn't he? I thought he looked so cute and loved that the other kangaroos protected her.

Thank you so very much for the lovely six stars, and your sooooo wonderful review, you always make me smile and laugh.

I think there will be another break out of the virus with these protesters in London and around the world, they aren't social distancing and if they had the virus they will pass it around, and off we'll go again. I feel so bad for the family of George Floyd, but don't like those people, white and black, who are using it to damage shops and loot. They are not there for George. I'm praying that his death will be the beginning of a new world of equality. It's been a long time coming.

Ian is doing well, bored at having to stay in and not visit his grandchildren. I miss my cuddles from mine, too. I'm sure you area already missing yours. Have you got family where you live in Illinois?

Ok, coffee time. Take care, dearest friend. Those books should be with you around the 26th June. Love you loads! :)) Sandra xxxxxx

Great fun as usual. I look forward to the next letter/installment. In this edition there were a couple things that caught my eye. "The reason for this is because"--the "because" seems redundant. Maybe it is colloquial? And then I wanted to know more about the different names for the males and females. I think I get "jacks and jills" and "bucks and does"--but why boomers and flyers??? Anyhow, I'm loving what you are doing. Keep up the great work!

Thank you so much for the lovely review, and for putting me wise about 'because'. I've now removed that.
The boomers and flyers. I have no idea why they are called that, but I am now going to Google it and find out. I'll add it to that part if I do find the answer. If I can't, I'll ask one of our Australian members on here, maybe one of them will know. Thank you for your wonderful interest in my ABCs, your reviews are truly helpful. Have a wonderful day. :)) Sandra xx

I love your ABC books. I love the odd facts you come up with. I never knew
a kangaroo could only have one baby at a time. Or that she can have two
milks. The pictures add another bonus.

Hello Sandramitchell,
'K for Kangaroo' is a nice piece of General Non-Fiction in continuation of learning English Alphabets.
It depicts different kinds of Kangaroos, their characteristics, habits, and habitats in an interesting way.
Worth appreciating Method of teaching Alphabets to kids.

Another wonderful addition to this truly interesting and informative book. The only problem is, I rush through your cute poem at the beginning so I can enjoy what follows - I just wish this old brain could retain it all!

-Nice artwork and photos, Sandra.
-I like the poem, too.
-A very good overview of the many
varieties of kangaroo.
-Some interesting bits about their ears,
and the joke about it, too. Kids will love it!
-The red kangaroo looks like a friendly chap,
and the tree kangaroo is quite pretty,
but I think the best looking one is the albino.
-Usually albino animals look a little odd,
but this ones reminds me of a large snow shoe hare:)
-I found the name of it interesting, given by the
man who spent so much time tracking these.
-Finally, I think most women will leave the
two births at one time to the kangaroo.
-Well done, well written, and interesting.

LOL! I know I would leave the two births to the kangaroos, one is more than enough at one time! Thank you so very much, Pam, for the lovely six stars, and the even lovelier review. I thought the albino looked lovely, and I liked how the others protect her. I'm glad you enjoyed this one, my friend. I'm researching L today. Have a wonderful day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars and review, Sandra. It was a good thing about the protection of the albino. I wonder if L is going to be Lion😊

When I saw that this installment was K, I guessed koala. Right part of the world, wrong critter. Who knew there were so many flavors of kangaroos?
Eric is going to have plenty to read up on here. He'll be the Karnac of all things Kangaroo. What? A mama kangaroo can dispense two different flavors? Talk about your Dairy Queen!

I enjoyed, Sandra.

Peace, Lee

I looked at koala's but they sleep a lot!
LOL, Dairy Queen? Love it! I don't think Eric will be able to manage a lot of this for a while, but I'm hoping it will get started. He is at a new school for children with learning disabilities, dyslexia being one of them. He's making excellent progress there. I think it's because he is with children who have the same problem. He was called so many horrid names by the kids at his previous school. Broke my heart. My son went all out to get him into this school and it was the best thing he could have done. Thanks, Lee, for reading this one, and your fun review. Loved it. :)) Sandra xx

Sandra,
My favorite book on this web site is yours.
I read your chapters to my wife and show her
the pictures.
Again, I learned more on kangaroo's than I
ever knew.
We have a lady in our small town, who owns
a baby kangaroo and carries it with her all over
town!
Blessings,
Richie

Aw, thank you, Richie. I love reading your reviews because they are always so encouraging. It's so nice of you to read these to your wife, I hope she enjoys them.
I wonder how long that lady will be able to carry the baby kangaroo for; they do seem to get really big ... and heavy!
Thank you again, my friend. Have a lovely week. :)) Sandra xx
