This is a nicely done mono-rhyme 5-7-5 that uses a door as a clear extended metaphor for losing faith in dreams coming true.

This 5-7-5, Revisited Foundations, has the right set up and seems to take us back to experiences or simply fears that remain to touch our thoughts still today. Makes us think of what there is there.
