The concept itself is good, I like it! :) Just, the "ever" in the first line really bothers me, since it doesn't flow well with the rest of the line. Good luck for future writing!

How right you are! Peaceful and respectful protests may make a difference, but destruction defeats the purpose.

Megan, we must never give up on peace, Christ died so we can live into our lives fully, even when we see, with our own eyes evil and despair brought about by inhumanity to others.
