What a fascinating posting! I enjoyed your poem and was intrigued by all the facts about the jellyfish you chose to profile out of the many thousands available. Being Australian, I was aware of the dangers of the box jellyfish. I loved the Immortal jellyfish - it would be good to have those qualities ourselves (for some people).

Thank you, Lisa, for your lovely review. I agree, being immortal would be lovely, but only if the 'baddies' weren't included! lol. I'm delighted you enjoyed reading this one, my friend. Have a lovely day. :)) Sandra xxx

I say again, this is an amazing book to create for your grandson. My only experience with jellyfish is when we visit the coast in the spring and their bodies wash ashore. I find the spaceship segment about gravity fascinating...

Thank you, Margaret. I don't think many people are big fans of jellyfish, I know I'm not. But they were a most interesting creature to research. I'm sure Eric is going to love the idea of a spacejelly! Have a lovely day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Hi Linda, I owe you an email! I don't know what is happening to the days, I blink and they've gone. I've decided never to swim in the sea again! LOL there are just too many of those little lovelies to have me join them. Thank you so very much for the six stars, dear friend, and your fabulous review.

I'm fine. I actually went out for the first time in 9 weeks, yesterday. It was a bit scary. But it was good to get out of the house for a short while. Graham is taking me for a walk tomorrow, so that'll be nice too.
I read your email so won't talk about it on here, or I'll have nothing left to put in my reply! lol. Thank you, my sweet friend, for always being so encouraging with your reviews, you really get me going, wanting to do more. Love you loads, dear friend, and sending you lots of hugs. Take care of yourself, being on your own isn't fun. :)) Sandra xxxx xxxxxx

Hi You, I really don't mind being on my own at times...like you said...time goes by so fast...I'll have two things to do...and by the time I am done...the day is over...and I wonder what took me so long to do them...I washed curtains today...and did so bills...
I'm going to do the dishes...and the day is over...but it seems that most of the time someone is coming over...or I'm on the phone...I wish I had more time in a day...

Grahams taking you for a walk...did you wear your collar???...LOL...kidding...that is wonderful your getting out...email when you get time...I know you are busy...what is Eric's next adventure???...

well catch ya latter beautiful girl...and you take care too...much love always...big smiles back at you...xxoo hi to all...

Loved all your fascinating jellyfish research. I knew about the box jellyfish but all the others were new to me and I found the research about the jellyfish born in space very interesting! Superb job!

You were one up on me, Helen, I'd never heard of the box jellyfish, or any of the others, it was quite an eye-opener. I'm hoping this will draw the children in to learn more about them. Thank you so much for the six stars, my friend, that is so kind of you. Have a lovely day! :)) Sandra xx

In Hawaii, where I grew up, I was aware of the Portuguese man o' war. They can be deadly but not as much as the box jellyfish.

Who knew there are so many kinds of jelly fish? I di not. Young kids will adore this, Sandra. They will especially like the discussion bout the deadly ones the best, I believe. Your poem is well-written and fun to read. Your husband's art is super, too. I really like the way you referred to the babies as 'jellies.'
Thanks for sharing another of your additions to your awesome book.
Respectfully, Jan

Aw, thank you, Jan. When I first looked at the letter J, I thought I'd be stumped because, like you, I thought there was just one kind, ok, may be a couple, but not as many are there are, and I've only hit on a few. I'm so pleased you enjoyed reading about them, my friend. Thank you. Have a lovely day! :)) Sandra xx

This one is the best yet, but then I love the jellyfish. Amazing creatures and the different sizes and colors are so vast. Totally enthralling writing.

LOL! I don't think he'll mind, Chuck. I've learnt such a lot as well. It's nice to know we can still learn at our slightly older ages, lol. Thank you so very much for the six stars, my friend. Have a wonderful day. :)) Sandy. xxx

What you are doing with your graphics and your hard work doing research, explaining of the numerous jelly fish, that when the children reading as they get older can learn the wonders of the jelly fish.

Oh my. Jellyfish are incredibly interesting creatures. You've done an excellent job of covering them all. The facts about teeth did scare me a little though... I won't be rushing to meet one!

When I was scuba diving I got into a bunch of baby jellies. Those stings hurt but meat tenderizer takes the pain away. You did a great job as usual. Have a wonderful evening. Shirley

Thank you so much for those shiny six stars, Shirley, and the tip if I get caught up in them. Not that I think I'll be swimming in the sea again after researching these little lovelies! lol. I'm so pleased you enjoyed reading about them, but sorry you got stung, I would have panicked and drowned! Have a wonderful day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx
