Once again I enjoyed the art, the story and the educational portion. I was also a bit surprised by the choice. I was expecting a jaguar. Shows my limited imagination. My girlfriend and I were vacationing in Florida. She was in the ocean with her three year old son, screamed and threw him to me. I was bewildered that she would throw her child, my godson. I was because she had been attacked by a jellyfish! Some elderly gentleman on the beach saw the whole event and promptly went to a box, opened it and took out ammonia to apply to her skin and help neutralize the poison.

That must have been horrific! It was lucky someone was there who knew what to do. I quite understand her throwing her son to you, if he'd been stung, well, let's just say it would have hurt him. I have to say, since researching these little lovelies, I'm staying out of the sea in future. The bath will be my limit! lol.
Thank you so very much for the six stars, Elon, and for telling me your story. I'm glad you weren't too disappointed that it wasn't the jaguar. :)) Have a lovely day! :)) Sandra xx

What a lovely review to send me off to dreamland with! Thank you so very much, Richie! Yes, once I've finished it, the head teacher of my grandson's school is going to check it over for me. Then I'll have it published. To know you'd like a copy, well, you have just made my day! Thank you so much. :)) Sandra xxx

Hooray for the amazing (and dangerous, in some cases!) jelly fish! Gotta say though, even though immortality may be enticing, one childhood (especially those teenage years) is enough for this gal! ;) :) I do like the appearance of the Lion's Mane... :) :) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

I was totally gobsmacked when I discovered what these little blobs of jelly were capable of. I'm still adding more about them to my first draft copy for when I've finished the whole alphabet. Thank you so very much for the six shiny stars, dear Yvette, and your lovely review. I'm with you on not wanting to go through my childhood again, I think I'd like to go back to my mid thirty's. I was a lot more confident then. Sending you a hug, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

You've surprised me again - in getting me interested in jellyfish! I had no idea they were so versatile and so interesting. I'll regard them more fondly in future. lol

Oh, wow, I never knew that some jellyfish had teeth. Another amazing chapter to your amazing animals. A cute, little poem with terrific rhyming words. I particularly loved your pairing of heart and apart.

Hey, Sandra, I just learned on the news that the protests are spreading to England and other European countries. The U.S. is such a mess - I feel so much despair for the police brutality, for the horrible destruction of property and for the possible renewed spread of Covid-19 as a result of the demonstrations.

Your notes were extraordinary. I was so fascinated to learn so much about jellyfish. This was a good one and I award you with the pretty, extra star. Hugs, Lou

First off, thank you so very much for that beautiful sixth star, Lou, and you fabulous review! You have made my day, and I'm off to bed with a big smile on my face.

Secondly, Yes, everyone throughout Europe and the UK are upset about that poor man's murder. How can police do that? I do feel sorry for all you decent American people who have to live in fear. Now, as you say, this could start the virus up again, over in your country and ours. And it was all so unnecessary. Please stay safe and well, my friend.

Sending you a big hug, and thank you again for that extra star and lovely review, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Oh, I"m going to have to go back and find all of your animal alphabet posts! I"m an ex-teacher and have a grandson who is autistic and a granddaughter who is dyslexic. I feel for your grandson, but his grandma is amazing. :)
Well done on this post! I enjoyed all of it but ... Immortal Jellyfish?! WHAT!!?? Crazy. God is awesome.
Thanks for such an interesting read! I loved it. :)
Be blessed,
Deb

Thank you so very much for this lovely review, Debora, I'm delighted you enjoyed reading about the jellyfish. I'm going to add a bit more detail to the first three letters, because I want them all to be around the same size. And, the more fun facts I can add, the more youngsters will enjoy reading about them. That is my hope anyway. My grandson is into weird things! lol. I have been asked by Eric's head teacher if I would come and read to his class. Eric is in a special needs school and is doing so well.
About 18 months ago Eric came with his dad to see me. I was writing at the time and had a few of my books on the table. He picked one up and asked me if I would write an adventure story for him. Bless him, I've just published the third book in Eric's Epic Adventures, and the forth is being edited now. I got a bit carried away! So, I'm going to take this book to show the teacher and see what he thinks of it when it's finished and published. It wasn't until Eric was diagnosed as being dyslexic and borderline autistic that I knew much about it. I do hope you granddaughter is finding her way with her dyslexia, and your grandson is getting the help he deserves. Having a grandmother is an ex teacher must be a boon. Thank you again for your lovely review. And sorry for rambling on! lol. :)) Sandra xx

No worries, Sandra -- I'm a rambler, too! lol.
I"ll look for Eric's Epic Adventures!
Cade came in one day a few years ago and asked if I would write his book. He told me the plot line -- a little snake wants friends but he cannot find anyone to play with. That broke my nheart because, of course, it's something he deals with on a daily basis. So we wrote Blake the Snake together, I illustrated and we self-published. It gave him some validity with his classmates. He's very high functioning, but his social skills are ? lacking. So we work on that as much as on school work.
And school work this year? AAAUUUGGGGHHHHH!
Surely they'll go back to school in the fall! Oh, I hope... Cause aving an ex-teacher as a grandma means grandma gets to do school with the kids during COVID. Oi, vey! lol
Okay, enough rambling. I have to put up the next chapter of my book today, too. :)
    Be blessed!
    Deb

They are very interesting indeed! I didn't know that there were so many different kinds of them. I also didn't know that there were some that just kept living. I did know that some had a powerful and deadly sting. I like this and have been enjoying reading these informative and well written works. Well done!

Thank you, Jeffrey, for this lovely review. I knew you could have a nasty sting, but that's about all I knew. It came as quite a surprise to find out so many interesting facts as I researched through for the jellyfish. I'm so pleased you enjoyed reading about them. Thank you. :)) Sandra xx

My favorite are the moon jellies. That little fact that jellyfish were sent into space and came back thousands is absolutely adorable. Your grandson is a lucky boy. Wonderful work.

I think the moon jellies will be the youngsters favourites, too. I know my grandson will love them. I don't think I'd want him to have a jellyfish pet though. lol. Thank you so much for your lovely review, Raven, I really appreciate it. Have a lovely day. :)) Sandra xxx
