I am a musician and I believe you have described "A Song Carried" very well in it's simplicity. If you have it, it is there and the voice speaks to ears waiting for a moment in time that can be labeled as an Awesome Moment. Rest regards.

As a singer myself, I really relate to this poem. Breathing is so central to singing, and the idea that songs are airborne adds a spiritual dimension to what we do. Listening for another singer's breath is an essential part of the process as well.
