You've penned a well deserving winner here. Personally, and I suspect for quite a few people, reading your effectively voiced words will have brought a clench to the heart as we remember past hurts. The pain of a so-called 'friend' pulling the emotional rug out from underneath us and broadcasting our vulnerabilities to the world is excruciating and lingering.

How awful! I had a sister-in-law who was like that. Not on face book but in real life. She tried to hurt me any way she could for the longest time. This is a well written poem and I enjoyed it very much. Well done. Nancy:)

I feel you. My sister- in-law and my mother-in- law tried to break up my husband and I. His mom actually said right in front of me "I give this six months". Its been 40 years so far. Lol. Thanks so much for reading my poem. :)

I love this poem. It was written so well. I was betrayed twice by two different people.
They were so close to me. I trusted them, I loved them. It hurt me so bad when they betrayed me. It was even worse then being dumped.
This brought back so many memories for me. I can still remember their betrayal, the pain. After almost 10 years, I have not forgotten. I do not hate them and I have forgiven them, but I was hurt too bad to ever forget.

Great poem about betrayal. It is really sad when someone finds pleasure in betraying somebody and putting it on Facebook to tell as many people as possible about it. Thanks for sharing this in a creative way, and remember that has nothing to do with your value. That comes out of the other persons rotten heart. Bill

Oh, me, I wonder how many unsuspecting people have discovered, from Facebook, that they've been thrown under the bus. Fifty years ago, people used phones--party lines--to hurt people. Your poem is very well-written,
