Thanks for the stroll this evening and the sunset was beautiful and I too was hanging in there for grim death to make it stay a little longer but you walked us gently through the inevitable end of the day with the magical "moonlit forest canopy"
such beautiful word imagery throughout the entire piece
your stage prop is delightful
your sunset and onset of evening have been characterized and personified so explicitly

Good work. It is a difficult format to work with and you have done well. I've never had much luck with it. Hard to get the story to flow smoothly through the stanzas with this broad a canvas. To my ear there is some difficulty transitioning between stanzas 3 and 4, mainly I think, the line itself "though I squeezed my eyes for every last ray" is hard for me to connect.

This Potlatch Poetry Trimeric--week 4/3/3 stanzaic and rhymed poem (Evening Stroll) has been perfectly executed and "you were aware of a sweet floral bouquet and sitting there with her angelic flair, you squeezed your eyes for every last ray light in vain as her hair shimmered in the moonlit forest canopy" I really loved the atmosphere created and delicate thematic subject treated.

The colorful images in this free verse take you on a fantasy journey through light and form to this image of the girl of our dreams, letting her hair down in the moonbeams. It is a great classic romantic image and I think you did a great job bringing it to life through this personal language and surreal atmosphere. Very dream like. estory
