I like this. Amen Sister! I became an American Citizen in 2010, and proudly placed my hand over my heart as I did so. Your poem speaks to the greater good of existence. In this day and age, I feel the need to be aligned to the well-being of the planet as a whole.

Hello,
A clever and effective rewrite of the Pledge. I like the phrase ". . . one multiverse
under God, infinitely congenial,. . . Thank you.

A very creative twist agreeing with these noble standards for equality for all throughout the existence perhaps our world first step towards initial contact between worlds. A wonderful thought in my given opinion.

Your free verse is enchanting, and your words take us to the far away exciting places. I enjoyed the visuals here as well as the presentation.

Good luck in the contest with this interesting entry.

Opal,

I can see where you're coming from - and more so as these crazy days pass us by with more and more craziness coming at us from every direction. The news bombards us every day with how we seem to be sooooo different. In your world we would be one, unified, and at peace. I could take a bit of that right now. --sigh-- Nice thoughts. Thanks and good luck!

interesting. Seems hopeful. I would want a pledge of honor like this for my multiverse. I like congeniality. I like freedom and neutralism. Much different from partiality, self indulgence and blinders we are so accustomed to here.

The poem and sentiment are truly worthy of great praise. I can only dream about such a world. This should be our universal theme. Thank you for taking me to a place far from here.

This free verse, The Edge of Convenience, is a cool parody of our Pledge of Allegiance and may soon be our new oath when we head out to Mars.

This is a very inspiring and thought-provoking poem. Your illustration pairs nicely with your words. I love the last line as this is what we need today. I can tell the words are from your heart.
