This poem rings true in the we should forever more be cautious, use our heads, be aware, safe, and tread lightly. This poem is a great entry for the acrostic poem contest.

Great summation of what's been going on lately. Doesn't it seem much longer than it's actually been? Yuck. Our lives will take a long time to really get back to normal, I think.

Grave the days have been of late,
In limbo have we all been caught.
Virus, COVID, ruled our fate.
In fear we lived, our lives distraught.

I love the fact that our church reopens June 7th, but facemasks will be required. That will be strange. What a wonderfully written poem, an acrostic, sonnet, if I read it right.

We need at times like this to remember that we are 'strong at heart' as this Acrostic poem so fittingly reminds us - these are such difficult times for humanity
