I love everything about this; the picture choice, the font color, the background color, but most of all - I love the image you put forth.
Out in AZ we mostly watch the Hummingbirds, and my goal is to get one to land on my hand. My Mom would stick out her finger and butterfly's would land most often.
I'm trying to return a favor, but truly enjoyed reading this post.

A gracious poem about the smell of lilacs and their beauty. We have lilacs here, too. They usually don't last that long after blossoming. But they sure bring a fragrance that is carried for many miles.
