I loved this poem, and as I said before, this is a wonderful idea that you are doing for your grandson. Another wonderful job here, and I look forward to seeing more of this.

-It's always interesting to see
which animal you will choose, Sandra.
-Good artwork and photos.
-A good poem and very interesting
information about the gorillas.
-It is amazing how many animals
and birds actually use tools.
-I didn't know the leader always
had the silver streak and that the
young stayed with the nest for so long.
-They are fascinating creatures, and
hopefully conservation efforts are
enough to keep them going.
-Very well done, my friend.

Thank you so much, Pam, for reading and reviewing my letter G, I really glad you liked this one. I found out such a lot that I hadn't a clue about. It's sad that we are losing so many. Yes, all adult gorillas have the silver back, and they have to prove how strong they are to be the leader. The biggest one usually wins. They are fascinating, and I'm rather fond of them, too. Thanks, my friend. Are you and Robert posting anything tomorrow? Take care, and stay safe! Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

What a great idea to write this for your Grandson. I love how it starts out with a bit of fun with your verse and then progresses to teach some real life facts about the gorillas. I will have to go and check out some of your other "letters" now as I really enjoyed this one. My own grandson struggles with reading and writing and has a younger very switched on sister so I can identify with you completely. Look forward to H :-))

Hello, Willosa, thank you so much for your lovely review! I'm delighted you enjoyed reading my letter G. I'm trying to put in as much fun facts so that the youngsters will want to read more. Eric loves animals, so I can't wait to present him with this book. I'll be reading it with him. I hope you enjoy the other letters I've done so far. Have a lovely day! :)) Sandra xx

Gorillas are pretty awesome. Great choice. I saw the movie about Dianne Fossey. She had worked so closely with them she knew each one's unique personality. Too bad it had such a sad ending.

That was awful about Dianne, and the police made a right mess of the investigation so her murderers never did get caught.
Thank you so much for reading my letter G, I really appreciate your review, Cindy. Have a lovely day! :)) Sandra xx

Learning something new... again! In all of my zoo going, I always thought that the Silverback was a kind of Gorilla... you know, like a Mac is a kind of apple... not just the dominant male. It's always good to learn! :) I had loads of pics! :) lol Let's see... H... you wouldn't do something as simple as horse... If you decide to do a hippo... let me know and I'll send you my hippo pictures. :) Mama and baby... so cute. I think that was the Colombus Zoo. I know that I used one in a poem here... but I'll be darned if I can find it. What I did find was a lot of images out of place! I swear! This place sometimes! ;)

I've searched through my portfolio for a story and some poems that seem to have disappeared. I'm not sure if I might have disabled them for some reason. I do that if I enter one in an outside contest. Thank you so much for another lovely review, Susan. I've decided you are an animal lover, it comes across somehow in your reviews!!! Lol Thank you, my friend, have a lovely day!!! :)) Sandra xx

Wow, I am so impressed that you are writing this book for your grandson - your husband is a wonderful artist as well. What a great way to learn the alphabet as well as so much information about the animals. This will be a great book when it's done.

Gorillas are such fascinating animals and you did a terrific job with this chapter. You've written another cute little poem, packed with interesting information. And, of course, you've topped it off with the fun facts. I also love the photos you included. Hugs, Lou

Hooray for the gorillas!! ;) They are some of the most fascinating of the apes - favorite 'zoo' stop for mom when I would bring the boys! ;) :) :) This is a wonderful addition to the book (although, I gotta say, I had my fingers crossed for giraffe on the 'G' - lol!). Thanx for sharing, my lady! :) :) Yvette

Another reviewer thought it would be a giraffe, it's really nice to know you are all interested it what I'm going to do next. So, what do you think H is going to be? I think most will guess that one, but the letter I might stump you. Thank you, dear friend, for this lovely review. Have a lovely rest of the day!! Big hugs Sandra xxx

Oh my, Sandra, a great job. Each week, I have a private guessing game as to what the next animal will be and other than the eagle I have been correct. You provide so much information about each animal with both a poem first and then a narrative section. Very educational and well presented. I do so love Graham's pictures. Be well, be safe.

Thank you so much, Alie, for another of your lovely reviews. It's so nice to know you are still enjoying these alphabet animals. I think as I go farther up the alphabet it will be harder to guess. :)) Everyone loves Graham's pictures, I don't know why I didn't use him before!! Have a lovely day, my friend, and stay well! Big hugs, Sandra xxx

Oh, dont make them too hard or Eric might not remember them.

I wont, I have to remember them, too!!! Lol xxx

Ahaaaa, so that makes it easier for both Eric and you, lol.

Hello Sandramitchell,
After 'F is for Frog', it's a nice piece of General Non-Fiction dealing with 'Gg is for Gorilla' in verse as well as in prose.
Lucid wording, smooth flow throughout from top to bottom, and beautifully narrating Gorillas' life, characteristics, habits, and activities. New and nice technique of teaching English Alphabets. A learner can easily have knowledge not only of Alphabets but also of various animals.
An Innovative Approach!
