Hi Linda, Thank you so much for the lovely six stars, and really lovely review. I laughed out loud when I got to the part with Graham's gorilla making eyes at the one at the bottom, LOL!!!! I'm so pleased you enjoyed this one. Love you millions, my dear friend. :)) Sandra xxxxxx

I'm almost there with the Noah book, but the cover has to be trimmed apparently. Always something! But, it won't be long now. The reason it's taken so long is there has been so many millions wanting their books published at the same time. Now I'm at this stage, it won't be long, thank goodness!! I've been so wanting to get this one done for your Noah, it seems to have taken years!
Ian's fine, just having mental eruptions every day with boredom. He misses seeing his grandchildren. But, he still mustn't go out, the virus would leap on him like a long-lost friend!!
You keep safe, too, dear friend, sending you a big hug. :)) xxxxx

Lol, I can't keep up with you! Another super poem, followed by lots of fascinating information. I'm not surprised to find out gorillas talk to each other, but I never knew they could do sign language as well. They are such intelligent creatures, which makes their dwindling numbers even more tragic. Thank you for another fun poem that ends up teaching me so much. Congrats to Graham too - there seems to be no end to his talents!

Thank you so very much for the lovely six stars, Alexa! There was a gorilla names Koko, who was famous for learning basic American sign language, you should Google it and watch her. Thanks for your lovely review, my dear friend, I really have appreciated all the support you have given me over the years. Big hugs, and lots of love. :)) Sandra xx

What a lovely idea for a children's book. This page is well organised and contains information well suited to your target audience. As a mother of three young children and a connoisseur of picture books, you have my stamp of approval!

I think what your piece highlights at the end is that we must do a lot more to protect these species and other endangered species around the world. I enjoyed reading this piece, and I found your writing to be really immersive, I also liked the short poem right at the beginning.

It's so sad, isn't it, that these amazing animals are now endangered. We must protect them, and all the others. Thank you so much for your thoughtful review, I'm glad you liked this part, and enjoyed reading it. Have a lovely day! Sandra xxx

The Gorilla is Getting a Good Going-over here. Between the drawing, the poem, fun facts, and the photographs, kids and I can learn a lot.

Eric's lucky to have two such talented grandparents! You have chosen your facts well and presented them in a way that is bound to appeal to him - particularly where you compare gorilla behaviour to human behaviour. Your poem makes a great opening, perfect in metre and with a nice bit of assonance here: "They dine on fruit, and bamboo shoots;"

Thank you so much for the lovely six stars, Tony, and your very complimentary review!! I'm really pleased you liked my intro poem. Finding out about the gorillas gave me quite a few surprised, some which youngsters would not be interested in learning about! ie, a mother doesn't stop weening her baby for at least two and a half to three years, and throughout that time the mother cannot get pregnant again. Now, why aren't human mothers like that? Thanks again, my friend, have a lovely day. :) Sandra xx

Bless your heart for doing this. Eric will flourish under your loving care. You have to be creative to reach autistic children. As to the dyslexia, I have found that setting things to music helps. Poetry works in a similar way. You just have to reach how they learn. I so applaud your efforts.

What a nice thing to say, thank you so very much for your really lovely review, Debbie. I've not heard of the music idea, but when I think of how much my poetry books have helped him, I can understand that. I do publish these on yellow paper because I was told that helps. His autism is harder, but we are getting there. He has wonderful caring parents, and I'm proud of them all. Thank you for this lovely review, my friend, and for your input. It all helps. Sending you a hug. :)) Sandra xx

Hello Sandra,
Another excellent chapter for the book.
I love gorillas, fruit and bamboos shoots,
but you can keep the grubs, fat slugs and snails. :)
When younger, I loved the movie King Kong, except for the ending
and the movie Mighty Joe Young too.
Excellent facts for the kids. This is a wonderful book idea.
Hope all is well.
Best wishes.
Robert

Oh I hated it when King Kong was shot down, I wanted them to get near him so he could knock them out of the sky!!! I know, I do have this incredible soft side! LOL.
Thank you so very much, Robert, for the lovely six stars, and another of your lovely reviews. Yes, I stick to the fruit, they can keep the rest! I'm hoping that Eric's head teacher will let me read this to the children when I've finished it. Who knows, he might want some copies! Thanks, my friend, I'm so pleased you enjoyed this one. Big hugs! :)) Sandra xxx

I love Gorillas. They are incredibly awesome, and the most entertaining animals to watch! Your poem really let me enjoy them more, and I know Eric will really love it. The photos are so adorable too.
