This is an upbeat and positive Nonet. Illustrated well, too. Gratefulness is the mainstay of happiness in our lives. Best of luck in the contest if it isn't over. Marilyn

Hi Marilyn,
Thank you for the wonderful review. Gratitude is essential in my book and I love your comment about it.
This contest ends in December which is far enough out that I should forget that I even entered, which is a good thing.

Well, good luck in it.

Great flashes of images swirling in this kalaidascope of life pick us up and whirl us into hope in this poem. The ever tightening meter of this form is a great example of form framing the theme. I think you hit the right key word for the ending: Live. We pick our lives and start living again, through our appreciation for the world around us; the stars, the flowers, the gentle moonbeams. estory

Hello W.J.DEBI
I pray you are well, as well as your family during this pandemic. Your Nonet is so touching and moving in my spirit. I agree with your message. We should each day to the fullest, enjoying the life we have. We should make sure we stop and smell the roses, every day. And, of course, we should be humbly grateful for each moment in life. Well-done. Your imagery is simply gorgeous. Thanks for sharing this lovely nonet. Happy writing:-) Stay safe.

This is a gorgeous poem, Debi. You have made a truly excellent poem. There is no point in living in fear over something that will happen someday, in normal circumstances anyway. We should live life to the fullest!

A brilliant summing up of how we should greet the day! Of course there will be obstacles, what would black be without white? Yin and Yang must survive this endless wheel of life. I just wrote a poem on fear myself. "The only way out is through. The storm will pass and the sun will shine again. Well done poet. Good luck in the contest XXK.

Your nonet is well done with a very succinct message about being aware of the fact that the length of life is unknown, therefore we should live in the moment. It will do well in the contest. Good luck.
