I like the topic you've chosen for the contest, it is a fresh perspective, but also a very true one. The way you've written it helps share your idea and it all works together very well.

Thank you for your thoughtful review.

This is a lovely tribute to your teacher, and I'm sure if she were to read this, she'd feel like her years of teaching were definitely all worthwhile. I also loved the "scribble" you included as your accompanying picture; it makes this poem all the more real. The poem for structure was wonderful too; excellent rhyme scheme and it flowed smoothly all the way through. I wish you luck in the contest!

Loving tribute to a sensitive and kind teacher. Picture matches well with text. Dark pink background very hard to read words. I'm a bit confused about who is speaking and who is the one viewing the scribble and the teacher. Clarification would polish this up to a 5 star.
Thank you so much for sharing your teacher appreciation. Warms my heart!

I loved the thought behind this poem, and the line "Love counts far more than perfection". I especially liked the focus on Mary Lou,the teacher, rather than Clara.

This is a very well written poem for the Teacher's Appreciation writing prompt. You used very good descriptive words about a teacher that should be given her due. I enjoyed reading and reviewing this. Blessings, Teri

The author's words are sweet, descriptive and creative. The poem
flows and connects well. The words in the 3rd stanza really touched
my heart. The artwork is perfect and compliments the words and
theme of this poem.

A very well-written poem about the little children that sometimes teach the teacher values of life in the little things they do in their innocent and honest way.

I so agree with the concept here, we learn from our children and sometimes we learn the basics of life, like humility, trust, love and honour, children are good teachers, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

I love the message portrayed, how sometimes children can teach us lessons that love really is worth more then perfection. Sometimes society says otherwise but really it is wrong. The drawing is a cute addition too.
