It has been the coldest spring in Tennessee also. We had a hard freeze in May also. I'm so sick of it. It will go from 68 to 98 in just a day real soon. What a wonderfully written story. Please check "the coldest spring. We" you need a period after spring.

Good heavens what is up with this crazy weather?! I woke to the upper thirties yesterday and 41 this morning - aaack!! Thanks for the update, Laura. They blame it on the polar vortex that you are experiencing this cold. Two years ago in May, we had snow, too but today we've have unseasonably warm weather.
Please be sure to get enough vitamin D. I heard that the virus is worse among population low in vitamin D.

This read like a little diary/journal entry that I enjoyed! You documented it all very well. That's cool that you have snow also, I guess it makes staying inside a little easier.
Just a note, the first few lines have multiple spaces between words and it made it a bit hard to read.

I liked this piece very much. Not a major part of your memoirs, just a slice of current life.
It's really amazing, everyone has strange weather of one sort or another since Covid-19. You have reverted to winter, whilst here in Europe we have forged on ahead to the height of summer.
