I'm not a coffee addict, so I can't agree with it's essential substance, but many voters certainly will identify with your commercial.

A cinquain going straight to my heart (and stomach). Waking and getting up absolutely need coffee. I am still so very grateful that I bought this marvelous espresso machine years ago in Milan. It makes the most wonderful coffee. I drink it black, hot, strong, sipping with my eyes closed until I am able to confront the day.

A cinquain going straight to my heart (and stomach). Waking and getting up absolutely need coffee. I am still so very grateful that I bought this marvelous espresso machine years ago in Milan. An essential way to kickstart the day for some. The hand is sometimes a bit unsteady first thing in the morning, which probably explains the spilling. A well-formed Cinquain that follows the specifications. Good luck in the contest.

you followed the Cinquain poem rules with well chosen descriptive words.
Good picture choice, also.
I think the word "is" in your author's notes at the top, should be edited out. At least it doesn't make sense to me.

Bill, you are so correct, rain, sun, hot , cold it rally is unimportant with a good cup to start the day off.
