Thank you for familiarizing me with the Oracle Cards. I am glad they inspired you to write a book of seventy-eight poems about flowers. The artwork you selected could be on the cover to entice us to share your enthusiasm. Cheers- Joan

Hi Joan! I may have gone in over my head with this little project. Hope you're doing well. Thank you. Hearts & hugs, Alicia :)

It is something to keep busy with as we shelter place. Unfortunately, my health has declined--I tried an oral steroid in March, which did not help the hip pain, and will have phone appointment with my doctor next week to discuss the last option--an epidural injection. Wish me luck that it will be effective and not have negative side effects. Take good care of yourself- Joan

Interesting concept. Bring on the tarot-card-but -not-really-tarot- card-related poems about roses and other flowers. It's good to develop a theme to write to and through.

A very well-written prologue and introduction to your new venture you are going to explore and writing poems about flowers that can brighten our days for the next few weeks. I wish you all the best for your intentions.

Hi Sandra! Idk, this might take me much longer to write. I'm not sticking to haiku and tanka forms. You're nice. Thank you. Happy Mother's Day :)

Sounds like a very cool and worthy subject for your book. Flowers make a lovely subject matter and it will be fun to read your work and learn. May I suggest you use a Sonnet Sequence format. A Sonnet Sequence is a Group of Sonnets, Thematically Unified (flowers, in your case) to create a long work, although generally, unlike the Stanza, each Sonnet so connected can also be read as a meaningful Separate Unit.
The Sonnet Sequence was a very popular genre during the Renaissance, following the pattern of Petrarch. But English models also emerged. They typically include 50+ Sonnets. If you add a touch of romance, all the better.

Hi! Dolly is currently writing flower poems too. Mostly in sonnet form. I'm experimenting with different poetic styles. Intensively researched flowers may need a sonnet. You're nice. Thank you :)

This is all right. You left off the D on cards once. I would recommend maybe finding 78 different flowers and writing one poem about each, but that might not be your style. Why so many about roses? Anyway, good luck with the book.

Hi! There are different colors of roses. Colors are a mark to differentiating a flower to stand apart. Okay, thank you. Happy Mother's Day :)

You have set yourself a very big project with so many flowers, but you will find joy while doing it I am sure, and also bring pleasure and knowledge to us readers. Good luck!

Hi Alicia. As we used to say in the '60's ~ "flower power." There is definitely something to that. I'm looking forward to reading your incorporation of flowers as it pertains to the tarot and our well being. I know a little bit about both. Marilyn

Hi Marilyn! I grew up with flower power. I think it was a motto in the Publix floral department. Lolz. I didn't know it was from the 60's. You're nice. Thank you Happy Mother's Day :)

You did a great job explaining the different card decks. Some do seen complex. Your image is a good pairing with your well-chosen words. I believe a book of flower poems sounds interesting. Will you share some of the poems here as you write them? Thanks for this info. Best wishes with your endeavor.
Respectfully, Jan

Hi Jan! All my flower poems will be posted on FanStory. It seems complicated, but not. I'm still working the details together. I'm sure it is simpler that I reasoned it out to be in the prologue. Lolz. You're nice. Thank you. Happy Mother's Day :)

Hi Alicia! Thanks for enlightening us about flowers! We all love flowers. Dolly just published a poetry book of flowers. I wrote about a bunch of flowers last year. Flowers are such a great inspiration!
One typo:
" It is meant for daily gudiance" (guidance)

Hi Helen! I read Dolly's flower poems. She's doing great work. I'm not sticking to sonnets. I am venturing into various forms and experimenting. I wrote haikus, 5-7-5 and tanka about tulips, but that was years agon. Flowers are nice. You're nice. Thank you. Happy Mother's Day :)
