Well, I see much has happened since I last reviewed a chapter. Aaron is now King! And I thought the bath tub scene of lady vs. dragons was hysterically funny!

Question:
I had imagined the woman in bed because of this statement:
"The wet human flung herself out of the tub, ran for her bed and dashed under the covers, still screaming."
But right after, Duane sees Pink "confronting a terrified woman holding the remains of a broom." So did she get out of the bed and return to a fighting stance?

"nurse to see to the women." (woman?) I thought it was just one woman.

Thanks. The woman with the broom was the maid. Perhaps I need to make that more clear. Thanks for letting me know, and for the stars.

Oh, I thought there was just one woman present - the one bathing. Thanks for clarifying.

I enjoyed your chapter. I like the fact that the dragons were not dangerous to humans. That is different than other stories concerning dragons. I like this point of view. Now I'm curious about the other chapters and characters. How did Aaron become king in this kingdom? Very good work.

Thanks for the six! Aaron found the dragon eggs, hatched them and took care of them. The king died without an heir and Aaron got stuck with a job he didn't really want. All the other chapters are available in my portfolio. I hope you will check them out.

Hi Cindy, I have fallen behind, but your story and the dragons still come back to haunt me. Aaron is not having the best of times and he has a lot on his plate. But he will get the kingdom together. The human world is not the best pace for the dragons, though. That is for sure. So I'm looking forward to what is next. Ulla:)))

As your conclusion states, the human world is not quite the best fit for dragons, and maybe going back to the places where they grew up it's going to bring some happiness into their lives and bring Adam a little peace of mind.

Thanks. Soon the dragons will be too big to live in the castle, and that's not where they belong, anyways.

I've fallen a long way behind with this tale and need to go back a bit to catch up. It sounds as though Aaron is on the right track for restoring the kingdom to prosperity but has a few obstacles to overcome. The princess seems to be a bit of a thorn in his side. I wondered if she was the female in the bathtub. If so, he's going to have his work cut out pacifying her! Another engaging chapter in your novel, which I enjoyed reading.

Thanks for the six! I hope you will catch up. Aaron will get things sorted out, but I can't make it too easy for him.

You did a good job with this chapter, Cindy. I enjoyed reading it. I like the idea of trade for supplies etc. I believe allowing the dragons to go off on their own will bring harm to them. Thanks for sharing an well-written chapter. There is good imagery. I could see the castle and the battle in the tub.
Respectfully, Jan

Thanks. Aaron won't leave them completely alone, but the palace is not the place for them. He'll figure something out.

Poor baby was just curious, lol. I guess it would be scary seeing a dragon at the side of your tub, not knowing what it was up too. When I first read it I was hoping it was the princess. She needs to be taken down a notch or two. Your chapter is well-written, very interesting. I do hope Aaron can figure things out.

Thanks. They don't know who it was yet, because I had to get her out of the tub before the guys arrived, so she hid under the covers. They're about to find out.

This chapter moves at a lively pace, and overall is a satisfactory story. I was just a little confused as to why the opinion of only one of the traders was heard (and not much detail was given) when Aaron had said he wanted everyone's opinions

perhaps?
danger passed -> danger had passed

Thanks. I probably should add a line about everyone's opinion being heard. I was trying to avoid repetition.

Thanks! The dragons don't even have to try in order to make a fuss. Glad you enjoyed.
