Thank you for your sweet review, Rebecca. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't live on a farm and have pasture to roam about. I feel for my children who live in the city.

Yes, a connection with nature really can help with the difficulties of isolation. I'm so glad I can get outside again. I live in a condo, but I've spent hours walking in the river valley watching nature come back to life. It's too early for berries where I live, but I'm looking forward to them.

Thank you for taking time to review. I'm glad you've found a way to get out as well. It's funny how you look around and Spring is bringing life back to the land. It's oblivious to the suffering of the people who inhabit it. It's refreshing and comforting.

Thank you for your honest review. You should love the part about dandelions if you laud weeds. There are even more edible weeds than them. Lots you can forage from nature.

What a wonderful way to pass the time outdoors while being stranded at home! You brought back memories of my youth when I helped my grandmother pick blackberries (I always ended up covered in chiggers), and she would make the most delicious jelly. Not saying you are that old, but your post reminded me of that. Thank you for those recollections!

You used just the right amount of fun humor...and, because we are all in the same boat (throughout the world!) it was not at all difficult to feel your pain. EXCELLENT work!

I think your essay was concise and there were lots of detail in it, and also some of the emotional background of the isolation and motivation to go out there to get those blackberries and dandelions. I think that's the most interesting part of it; most people focus on the mechanics of gardening, but this outlines and expresses some of the emotional needs behind it. estory

I enjoyed both your story and your bio. While I am not a master gardener, I do enjoy my plants, especially the fresh herbs growing on my deck. While I do get a good bit of exercise in the yard, I really enjoyed following you around on your dandelion hunt. Makes me want to go dig some up myself!

Thank you for your review!! All you really need is the flower part, and of that, you cut away the green part. I haven?t made anything with them yet as I was still gathering them today.
It was fun, and so far, the Master Gardening has been fun. I?m just an intern so we?ll see how time consuming it will be. I really just wanted to learn more about plants, lol!

I enjoyed coming along with you collection blackberries and dandelions. Unfortunately, I have to wait another 5 months for my blackberries, and the dandelions are non-existent here at the moment, another month or so, I think. Hi Sandra. The berries were a little late in our area due to an extended cold period, but true to Texas, the temperature quickly turned hot, and the berries came through!

I?m so glad you?re inspired to garden, it?s a great challenge and source of comfort.
As far as Westerns, I still watch them every night, and have written a few myself, but, I just needed out of the house and with a project. This helped.
I?ll have to look into your stories!
