Oh, man. We've had a few too many of those lately, haven't we.
The poem is perfect. It reminds me of a Bible verse, so that's always good, although the verses are NOT always an encouragement. They are real -- good and not fun.
The poem is a wonderful entry into the contest. Best of luck!

Hello Writer,
You've written an excellent 5-7-5 poem for the contest
with interesting imagery of the earth.
While haiku doesn't usually have personification references,
like giving birth, it works well here.
Excellent art work to match.
