Thank you so much for the lovely six stars and wonderful comments! Children will learn willingly if shown in the right way and with lots of love. I'm so pleased you agree, and like what I'm doing for my grandson. Stay safe and well. :) Sandra

Hello Sandra, I love this idea of yours. What a wonderful way to not only instruct children on the alphabet, but you write wonderful poems and give lengthy information for each animal. It will make a great book which, knowing you, I'm sure is your intention. Another good one - look forward to the letter E - Elephant maybe? We will see. How lucky that your husband can do the artwork. Take care, stay well and regards Dorothy xxx

Oh, yes, this will be a published, and I'll give some copies to Eric's school. They have the other books I've written for Eric, which was nice of them. Eric has really given my imagination a boost, lol. Thank you for reading my letter D, Dorothy, and for the nice review. You are the second person who has asked me if E is for Elephant, I'm not telling you, either!! LOL. Stay safe and well, my friend, lots of love. Sandra xx

Thank you so much, Shirley! I'm so pleased you enjoyed this one. The dinosaur is a really interesting one to research, and I learnt so much doing it. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Sandra,

Really interesting. Though I don't at all believe the millions of years hypothesis. I'm a strict Bible girl - and believe that this old earth is only 6000+ years old. *smile*

Of course, I also believe honest and truly that Jonah was in the belly of a giant fish and every other story in the Bible.

You could also mention that the Bible speaks of some of these terrible lizards - the Behemoth (land creature) and Leviathan (water).

I hate that I've missed some - I'll try to go back when I can. Thanks!

Thank you, Robyn, for reading my letter D in my alphabet book. It's funny you should mention Jonah and the whale, I read Deniz22 prose today and he talks about him. Thanks, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

This is going to be a wonderful book when finished. Thailand has found dinosaurs in the northeast where we live. It is tourist attraction.

It's surprising how many are being discovered now. There are so many in Europe, and we even have fossils in the UK belonging to the dinosaurs. Thank you, Rebecca, for your lovely review. :)) Sandra xxx

Thanks for the lecture on Dinosaurs. Plant- eaters, and meat-eaters? And the plant-eaters can't have been very intelligent with only a pea-sized brain! Again: nice, instructive work for kids, with some interesting information for the mamas and papas as well.

The two boys living in my house, (5 and 6) love dinosaurs They have a lot of them in plastic, different ones, but they know them all by their scientific names. I think they speak to children's imagination.

Most boys do. Eric has loads of them in his bedroom and knows their names. It really is a boy thing. :))

For many years my and my students, especially the boys, favorite unit was my dinosaur unit. Unfortunately today's experts feel it's a waste of time to teach students. I disagree because of all the learning we did with it, but I'm not allowed to teach it any longer. Oh well, did enjoy reading your post and I am sure young children will love it.

That is a shame, because there is so much about those animals that are relevant today. They are Earths history, and as such should be taught to students. I'm glad you found this one interesting, and I'm hoping Eric will, too. Thank you Barbara, for your comments. I really appreciate them. :)) Sandra xx

I had a laugh out of this cute and humorous poem. As a former (long ago) camp counselor for mentally disabled children, I still have a fondness for them and I wish your grandson all the best. I am sure he will enjoy this one.
