Excellent writing, and a lovely petrarchan Sonnet. They aren't written very often, which is a shame, because they are so soothing. Romance is often associated with youth. They are the ones who have hopes and dreams - so say the millenials. That is why I was pleasantly surprised by these lines:
My body may have aged, but not that part
Which savors moonlight still, a murmured word.
If witness to romance, my mind replays
That very moment when you won my heart.
No, we're not dead yet!
Very nice sentiments captured in a lovely sonnet. I enjoyed it.

Well...since I am very Greek myself, I give you 6 stars not only because I found your poem very romantic as well as the picture, but because you are referring to Greek Mythology which I think is the center of the Universe and it should be thought in all countries!! I love Greek and Roman mythology, Marianne, so I often incorporate allusions to classical stories in my poetry. I am so pleased you like my use of such in this sonnet. Thank you for your praise and those six startling stars.

There is no age for love. Love will be forever young in the hearts of lovers. The memories of a first kiss and the sensation of a touch of a fingertip will keep the love alive forever. I love the application of greek goddesses in your poem.

Love is a wonderful thing long remembered by those who experience it. Selene, the goddess of the moon, probably thinks she has a part in all the love seen under her fun moon. Wonderful poem!
