We too have had a lot of flowers in Townsville in our garden, but unfortunately, since last year's floods none of the bird-wing butterflies have been seen. Loved the little butterfly and queen bee conversation, very cute to imagine that taking place. Nicely done,
cheers,
valda

Hello Valda, You are not that far from me in Maryborough. You have had too much rain. Our country has many faces. Thanks for reading my friend, stay safe. Love, Kay.

You have mastered the acrostic format with this timely and well-written posting, Kay. (I love spotting the Monarchs as they migrate through our area.) Sincere best wishes in the contest! xoxo

Good morning my friend, thanks so much for reading and enjoying. I've been watching a doco on Netflix all about the House of Windsor.
I think Megan is a pariah and only now, starstruck Harry is waking up.
Will he run home to grandma? Love, Kay.

It's a real life soap opera!

Yep, forget the handwash, just use soap and water!! Megan needs to wash her mouth out!

Are you in a covid hot spot?
reply by Janetsue on 26-Apr-2020
We're still in the middle of it. I'm mostly staying in and being careful. It's giving me a lot more time to write which I appreciate, but I feel sad about all the people who are suffering. Take good care of yourself, Kay! xo

From my old memory (could be wrong cause so many write to me) You are in Memphis? And that is Tennessee?
reply by Janetsue on 26-Apr-2020
Yes...I'm a southern gal now. LOL (I've lived in over 50 places. I once had a little bit of a New York accent.) Are the animals doing okay that survived the fires you had over there?

Your rhyming acrostic poem is very well-written and descriptive. It's clever and impressive how you have included the desire for people to be fully aware of the danger this pandemic carries!

Good luck in the contest, Kace. This was well done with a unique rhyme pattern. I do agree that their beautiful life span is short but the key is their beauty, indeed a sign of new life. Be well, be safe.

That was really well done, Kay, and the rhyme scheme was excellent. Acrostics are that easy to rhyme. The butterfly is such a pretty creature, and one that has many lovely stories about. My favourite is that a loved one who has passed is the butterfly come to say goodbye. Well done and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx

Hello Mrs Seagull! Been worried about you? Are you OK in lockdown?
Thanks for reading, the butterflies are in plague proportion here. I wonder if they herald new life. But for Toby dog, cabin fever has set in and I don't think it will pass soon. I am so sorry for the loss of life in the UK. At least Boris came through it (near death experience) love him or hate him, I think he will guide the country well. Love to you and Graham and the invisible cat? XX Kay.

A beautiful tribute for these lovely ladies! They do not live long - but they live well. They enjoy every moment spreading joy - and decorating our gardens. A fitting symbol of nature's ability to renew itself. I enjoyed this acrostic. Well done!

Hi June, Yes, in these dark days they lift our spirits. God's creatures are spectacular in all their beautiful colours. How are you in lock-down? Huge death toll in the UK. Take care my friend, love Kay XX
