Great chapter! You have a fantastic ability to bring your characters to life. The two detectives seem real as the others do. Looks like Jena might cause problems with her victims being left behind.

This means a lot coming from you. I really enjoy hearing my story is entertaining. That is motivating. Hopefully I can get back to writing more of this story. I've been busy re-editing Sins of Chaos. It needed some work. Then I need to go back and fix all the others. They are too wordy. I hope you are having a good Easter and staying safe!

I hope your Easter was happy. Mine was really good. I am staying safe as I can at work. I have a mask and gloves. I'm pretty tough. I'm just grateful I can still work. I feel sorry for everyone that has lost their job. I pray every day.
I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. I'm breaking them up so they are not so long. Most of my chapters are 5-9 pages long.
We will see how the Covenant and the two detectives deal with Jena's little messes and Joseph and his Shadow.
Writing is so much fun for me. It gives me a purpose. I love to entertain others with stories.

I think you have an interesting story, but you have a lot going on first the monster was going to kill the girl then the two guys stepped in and then the monster was going to kill them then a wear wolf got into it then somebody else is killed. It seems like a comic book not a novel. I think you have a lot of good stuff in here but less things happening and more description and feeling would be nice. Like describe the weather its a cool night with a light drizzle. She was thinking that it might be an early spring and she couldn't wait. She walked along the alley and some cats were scurrying through the garbage... That sort of thing. That's just my opinion anyway

Yes, Carrie has a different life a head of her now that she has witnessed Jena's werewolf. I think the Breedline will have to bring her into the mix to keep her safe from Joseph's Shadow. He is going to be a little drawn to her in the chapters to come. I will also let you know what Joseph looks like. When I write about him... a certain actor's face comes to mind.
