Hello Sandra!
What a delightful idea and so well-executed! Your grandson will be delighted. I appreciate the poem alongside the fun facts. And of course, your husband's illustration cannot be beat! I didn't know about the last fact offered: how the anteaters use their long noses as snorkels. Very interesting!

Thank you for sharing!
Hoping you are safe and well!

Thank you so much for reading my first animal letter, Diane, and I'm delighted you enjoyed it. I didn't know about the snorkels, either, I'm sure the children will find that interesting, I did! Have a lovely Easter, my friend, and you stay safe and well, too. :)) Sandra xx

I suppose I am one old child who loves learning. I just learned something about this creature. I never knew they had bad eye sight. Thanks for sharing my dear friend Sandy.

Hi Chuck! Happy Easter, my friend. thank you so much for reading this first letter in my ABC book. There was a lot I didn't know, their sight, and that they could swim! I see you have started a new book, I'll be heading over to read it today. How is the publication coming along of your last book? I want a copy because I didn't manage to read it here. Take care and stay safe, my dear friend. Big hugs. Sandra. xxx

Hey Sandy. The recent published book I think can be seen on Amazon by ebook I think. I have not checked on it lately. I do appreciate your interest. Hope things are going well with you and the family. Have a great Easter.

Thank you for sharing these amazing facts about animals in chapter one of your revised book. I enjoyed the rhymed poem and parallel pictures, especially the animated, snorkeling one by your husband. I am certain your grandson will be enchanted.

Sandra, I hope I have 6 stars to give again very soon, because you earn them!
What a wonderful idea, this animal series. I enjoyed the anteater tremendously. Again: so well for children, with your clear and simple text. Nice also to start with a little poem.

I will follow them one by one.

This was truly amazing, Sandra. I learned so much about the anteater, not that I have ever seen one. It was both educational and entertaining to read. I will definitely look forward to more delightful entries. Very well done, hugs and smiles, Alie.

What a fun book! I'm so glad you're doing this for your grandson and your husband can illustrate. I didn't know they swim and I'm impressed by their conservation of their sources of food!

Suggested unless it's a case of English differences:
"up dated. This time I've adden " (updates...added)

Thank you so much, Helen, I made the correction. It wasn't the English way, it was an error and I'm so pleased you picked it up. I'm delighted you enjoyed reading this and learned something. I didn't know they swam, either. Happy Easter, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I didn't know they can swim. The surprising thing is they snorkel. Who knew? I love your husband's portrait of the anteater. Together you make a great team.

I didn't know that they could swim, either. It must be handy having a built in snorkel for a nose!! LOL. Thanks, Yvonne, I'm glad I was able to teach you something, lol. Happy Easter, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

That's cute. It's an animal most kids won't know much about. I've seen them on TV, and they're very interesting. Of course, they don't live around here. They'd get pretty hungry between November and May. One little thing, according to a writing class I took, numbers other than dates should be spelled out.

Thank you so much, Cindy, for reading and the tip. I've changed all the numbers and they are now all spelled out! I'm so pleased you told me. Thank you for the lovely review, my friend. Happy Easter! :)) Sandra xx
