I really like this piece. I love how you describe Spring as the gentle season. I immediately identified with that Spring calm in comparison with the varying fury of the other 3 seasons. I instantly was drawn into the scene of your beautiful illustration, that fit so perfectly. "When lambs roam bleating, young birds sing" is so eloquently stated. And, I have to say, this gives us all a brief glimpse of what's to come---Hail, Gentle Spring!

I like the art you chose to accompany your contest entry, Mystery Author. Good job with the prompt. Your words flow well, the rhymes work, and there is great imagery even if no picture was showing.
