A somewhat imperfect perfect cat it would seem on this occasion. I am thinking of making some wooden clogs for Paddy, then I might him when he tries to creep into where he shouldn't be. He got shut in a kitchen cupboard the other day. Yes clogs would do the trick I think.

Thank you, Dolly. I thought we needed something silly.

Oh, this is so cute, Yvonne. Brings back a memory of my wonderful doggie, Kylie. She followed me everywhere like a shadow. She was a beautiful big, black herding dog. One day she was missing and I became frantic. Searched for her everywhere, call friends to help me search for her. She was nowhere. I retraced in my mind when I last saw her. At the time I had a huge walk-in pantry. When I opened the door, she was right there smiling at me. OMGosh, I was never so happy to see her in all my life. Called all the rescuers up and told them I'd found her in my pantry. True story. Hugs, Marilyn

Whew! I'm glad that turned out well. You'd think I'd learn to look for him better, or he'd learn not to get in there. However, he wants to get closed up so he can tear into the treats.

I liked this take on the nursery rhyme. Liked that last line a lot. Your poem brought a smile to my face as I envisioned the scene you painted with your words. Thank you for sharing your work.

Thank you. I'm glad I could make you smile. This is almost a daily occurrence with P.C However, he wants to get closed up so he can tear into the treats.
