This redone nursery rhyme, Pantry Peril, is a great example of upgrading a rhyme to reflect what our house cats do nowadays that the queen is out of town.

I can tell that you had fun writing about that Perfect Cat. Such a scenario must surely have happened in your house. The Pussycat rhyming sound was well done and enjoyable to listen to. You have an enjoyable little 'story'.

Yes, it's an almost daily contest to see who notices who. He likes to get locked up in there so he can scope out the goodies. Thanks for reviewing.

I know where you're coming from. I am a crazy cat lady and am familiar with all their feline foibles! I like the nursery rhyme you chose. Great presentation.

Ahhhh, a fellow crazy cat lady. There are worse things to be called. I get so much love and enjoyment out of them, I don't care, as I'm sure you don't either. I'm glad you like this. Thank you.

I see you inherited one of my Catzillas. I love both cats and dogs, but now much more a dog person. Your purffect poem reminded me why. Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xoxo

I love both, too, but somehow got into the cat business after my last Dane died. Thank you, Sally.

A very well-written animal cracker nursery rhyme poem about the perfect cat who seems to be at the right place every time when it is locked downtime, the pantry is the perfect place.

Interesting concept. I can see this happening. I saw something about cats subject to this virus so keep your your felines checked and away from those who may have it. Good poem and right on.

I've read that, too, but my cats are indoor cats. Thanks for reviewing. Thank you for caring.

Your poem is creatively composed, playful, apealing and delightful. It conveys a cute little story and follows the instructions you were given.
The artwork fits.

Hi Yvonne -
I'm going to say that you accomplished your goal. I was thinking this had a nursery rhyme "feel" or sound to it upon my first read. And, in reading the author's notes, it was clearly the intent. Great pic, too!
This is a fun one. :)

I liked this. It shows to me that different rhythms can be used and applied. I would have never thought of doing this. An amazing piece and know too that animals like to be right in the act. LOL
