Do you use MS Word? There's a P icon which shows the hidden characters and maybe that would help to find the reason for the blank spaces.

Thank you for the kind comments about my siblings. I am doing okay. I got a nice separation package and feel lucky I don't have to go to work right now.
I'll see if I can locate that icon. Thanks for the info.

What a family. They are all right in the thick of things. I understand the ones that say that about being both thankful and terrified they still have jobs to go to. It is such a risk. You wrote them up well. Be sure and tell them how proud you are. Stay safe

Could you write the first sentence onsite, and then paste the rest, or just copy it using the sites resources Drew? Elaine and I are both retired so it doesn't matter, but our kids and one hubby are working in essential, and the other is homeschooling so they are covered. Thanks for the suggestion for the formatting. I wrote the entire thing on site, but every time I saved it parts were missing, usually chopping off in the middle of a word. After an hour of deleting it and reposting this was the best I could come up with, and I just gave up.

Hi debi. This is a very good essay. There are many critical jobs that people are doing even if not in the medical profession. You mention a few here. Yes, I'm grateful for my mail. Also unsung heroes are the truckers and the grocery store clerks. We could keep on going with our gratefulness, but you get my point. Blessings on your family. You probably know that if you recently lost your job you can apply for unemployment. They have relaxed the regular rules due to people needing income during Covid and there are not many, if any, jobs out there.
