Knowing how the judges of these things like the poem to speak for itself, I read this with the magnificent picture both visible and hidden. I came to the conclusion that your words alone were enough. Mind you I loved the picture. What a vivid blue!

The artwork is also very nice.
We are talking about perennials, am I right? I know nothing about gardening but perennials are the ones you plant once and they come up each year, am I right? That is what your lovely poem reminds me of. Good luck with your continued writing.

This is a significant time, especially since most of us have never seen a time like this before, it's an enemy we can't see, who is sneaky, and the medical folk are the most vulnerable, and on the frontlines so to speak. A wonderful entry in the contest June, well done, good luck, blessings Roy
