I like your phrase "towers of pride." Your use of parallel structure is very effective. Lovely rhyme. There are trying times when we need to call on God. As you write, He forgives when we repent. Excellent presentation. judi

It is a good poem, Pat. And so true. I have felt it so often. We sometimes first need to become aware of our own mistakes, before we can repent them and ask forgiveness. But it is so great to feel that His grace is given.

Using the title as the focal point of the piece brought it together.
so true and yet it seems so complicated for man to understand. Maybe we look for the harder because we are taught nothing comes free.

Excellent rhymes with great flow. I read your poem twice I couldn't quite get your meaning with one read. Which is usually the case with great poetry. You can never go wrong with your theme.
