soft shining wind
plays with her peach kimono --
coquette geisha smiles
Light breezes, nimble movements, and a pleasant smile come to mind.

Don't ask me why but I love the idea of " peach" and flirtation being linked, to me, your words have given a wonderful image that enhances your artwork, very well written and very understandable, well done****kahpot

I enjoyed your 4-7-5, spring haiku and the reinforcing Japanese print. I admired your use of alliteration and energy in your ensemble. Big smiles- Joan

When I read these, I try to scroll down to the piece before I see the picture to get the whole thing in my mind first. I can picture it but had to read the notes for the season. Good reasoning. Then I could picture the pink, the bouffant back piece and the little smile, just a little, with the way the lips are painted.

This haiku perfectly conveys the feeling of silk as wind caresses a silk garment--very sensual & subtle.
Thank you for calling attention to little things.

Dear Gypsy Blue Rose,
So sorry --my bad. I didn't know the values of the rating system, but I'm learning fast. I see your poem deserves a 5 or 6.
Forgive my hastiness?
I hope so.

No problem, it happens to me too. Thank you.

A lovely haiku about the a flirtatious wind playing with the geisha's kimono. The only word the stumped me a little was "shining" because I can't see the wind so how will I see the shine?

I got the "shinning wind from a Japanese kigo dictionary.(see my link to the source) It's a poetic term, not literally shinning wind .
Thank you very much for your review.

I know there were other reasons for the paint, but reads like this make one think of how her blush of embarrassment would not even show.... and how attractive that blush can make a female to a male... ;) Thanx for sharing, Gypsy! :) Yvette

Another excellent haiku with a great theme, the chosen words are ultra important in any form of poem, and even more so when it comes to Japanese poetry, like this one, well done, Gypsy, blessings Roy

This is another of your great haiku, Gypsy. You are a master at writing these. This one is beautiful. I could 'see' this as I read. Great work on the haiku style. I have read several for the contest (I know this isn't for it) that are really stretching the rules of haiku. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, Jan
