I love this ode to Jesus who is the king of King and Lord of lords and the commemorable adoration shown by the writer to Deity of Jesus. But what really highlights this piece is the writers witnessing for Jesus and appealing to the reader to believe and accept the Redemptive work of Jesus on the cross. And yes agree and concur that Jesus is light and in him is no Darkness at all for Jesus is the light of the world great, great ode.

Your ode has a lyrical quality that makes it read like a song - I started imagining musical instruments playing along as i read. One thing that didn't quite work for me was having to read the word 'beautiful' 12 times, which I found rather excessive. Just wondering, considering you are "amazed by all your ways," why you chose not to use more variety in your descriptive words?

Thank you for your review. I understand the repitition of the word "beautiful" does not make for the best form of poetry and I usually don't write in this manner. However, in this particular Ode, I tried to convey my childlike awe of my Savior's beauty and my loss for words to adequitely describe it. Thus, the third stanza, it's better to let his beauty shine through my own good works before men, then to try and express his beauty through words alone.

Yes, that makes sense. I see your ode is doing well in the voting, so other readers are enjoying its appeal. Good luck in the final vote!

Your poem is the highlight of this contest. There is no greater Being to write a ode to or about. There are great human beings deserving an ode...

This is . . . beautiful! It speaks for itself. It held my attention and speaks from the heart. It's genuine and real. Very inspirational and heart provoking. A fine read. Well deserved. I love Him too; for what He did for us and in his saving grace and in Him we are redeemed and set free. Amen and amen to your poem.

This is a beautifully written ode to our Lord Jesus Christ. It follows the structure of a traditional ode by using lots of adjectives explaining why you love him so. Good job and good luck in the contest

Loved this beautifully written heartfelt Ode to King Jesus! Thank you for sharing this lovely inspired piece. The artwork selection is inspired as well. I like to think that no matter how old we get we can still come to Him as children to a loving Father! Well done!
