This is sweet and sentimental. You can feel the emotions and can enter the mind of the writer well in this. The pain can inevitably be felt yet a wonderful picture of water colours is left to enjoy after it all and paint a picture. This is well presented and I like the shades in your presentation.

I love that wrote this in a review for Dean. And every line is something that I can relate to. It's hard when someone does this to you, leaving you to pick up the pieces and put it back together again. Amazing job.

Dean passed very shortly after I joined Fan story, but I "knew" him long enough to have been inspired to write a tribute to him. I cherish the few reviews he wrote for me, a newbie to this site. I miss him, too.

I miss him, too, and Phyllis, so many wonderful friends have passed since I joined nine years ago. I could see why he was impressed by your last stanza, it describes the loss of love by someone who really didn't care. I remember Dean telling me about his earlier life, that stanza fits it well, not only his, mine as well. Well done, Victor. Stay safe. :)) Sandra xx

A tribute to Dean Kuch here and your words are moving and grief-filled as love can often break our hearts and it is hard to cope after the loss, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

What a beautiful and heartbreaking poem! I love the line that says ruptured by love, and anyone who ever has been knows how accurate this description is. But I think we are the stronger ones. I am very moved by this poem, and I can see why it ended up on the website. Gorgeous presentation also.

The author's words are sad, interesting and creative. The reader found
this poem to have a deep meaning. The poem flows and connects well.
The artwork goes well with this poem. Hope you are having a good weekend.

Blessings Victor, your poem so adequately portrays the hurt and pain that lost love can lead to. The colors bleeding into each other leave nothing of beauty behind only mixed up thoughts and confused memories.
