A beautiful offering of showing the reader a peek into trials you've had to go through and how changed you feel because of them.. ;) :) Throughout your piece, there are 'run on' sentences that need commas as grammatically required to make them 'not run on'... I started below, but I would suggest reading it out loud to yourself and DO NOT pause unless you reach a comma that you placed in there. This allows you a 'view' to where one is probably missing.... and if you cannot get through a sentence without pausing or taking a breath it is probably too long... that's the method I find works best for me! ;) Thanx so much for sharing and best of luck! ;)

What a well-written, very interesting, story. One I'm sure we can all relate to. You're right our trials and triumphs change us. We can either let them defeat us or shape us into a better person. I'm glad yours helped you become a stronger, more determined lady. Good luck with your contest.

I've been on that journey for over two years after my wife's heart attacks. It does shake your foundation. What a wonderfully written story.

Hi, Brenda, good to see you again! I'm glad to know that you're feeling put back together again and all is once again right with your world. There are some people in the world that just can't deal with traumatic events... not even someone else's. My boyfriend is one. My mom was dying and he bolted. He can't handle the sadness, He has had and still has enough of his own to deal with... he won't let me help him no matter how much I ask... "I don't want to talk about that." He takes it out when he has to, then puts it away. When my mother passed, he went to Maine, where he has to deal with his... ð??? now he's stuck up there for the foreseeable future. At least he's at his brother's house.

So sorry to hear that. We have to have Faith that God is still working even when we can't see. I believe that he will either send the help we need when it's or reveal himself to us in another way in the midst of it. He's always there. We just sometimes get distracted and forget. 🙂

I love this as the story is ongoing in faith. I will join and have been giving my all, spending love daily. My grandchildren have had the virus, but are better now. They have been in seclusion for three weeks. I FaceTime them daily. They are my priority as well as many on my prayer list. God has already done a series of miracles on my behalf.
