Beautifully expressed. I'd never the name El Shaddai. It has a lovely sound. El Shaddai represents one God, who is Life's light and Love's Goal. So true that without God we couldn't know our own purpose. Lovely artwork. judi

It is a Hebrew word, and I?ve always loved this song, too. It just feels like you took off your shoes and stepped onto holy ground when you sing it. :) I am not Jewish, but being a Christian, it is part of my history. Appreciate you enjoyed it. xoxo

Yep, I like most contemporary Christian singers (favs like Jars of Clay, DC Talk from some years ago). The song itself has a holiness about it.
