Thank you so much, Roy -- and I am so sorry I'm so far behind! I apologize for this 'more cut/paste than personal response', but if I don't do something to try to get my 'head above water' I never will!! ;) :) This online education thing is going to make me crazy! :) But I've only got two more weeks worth of prep (I'm operating about 2 weeks ahead in my preps: YouTube, Assignments, Resources, Etc -- yes! I'm on YouTube! lol!) to be done for the school year and then I'll just have to keep up their weekly submittals/grading/returning.... but UGH!! ;) Thanx for your patience while I 'get there' -- take care of you and COME ON MAY 10th!! :) ;) Yvette

These lovely words paint images as the flow in quiet symmetry. A great entry for the contest. I love your tranquil poem, such a relief from the world. I hope all is well, Laura.

You are so awesome, Laura!! ;) You know me, I'm just trying to spread some sunshine and remind folks that even though things seem 'ominous' on one front, we still have so much to celebrate! :) Thank you for the awesome review, my lady, and those shiny stars -- they are so welcome amidst this 'online education' nuttiness!! ;) Take care out there! ;) Yvette

I love what you say and hope that you celebrate life with those around you, Yvette. It is said that the sun destroys the virus on the body. Don't know if it's true, but I love the Son. Enjoy life with your loved one outside together. :)

I have already used up my sixes! So very sorry! There is NOTHING nerdy about this. Quite lovely. It is a time (rough at the moment perhaps!) to celebrate life. I had to speak with my grandchildren on the phone as we are still self isolating here for the time being, but your poem is so optimistic. Love it!

Refreshing. Not just the champagne toast. What a twist. Flawless rhythm--for which my ears are grateful. The unexpected use of ether makes this extra-special. Fine work. Cheers. LIZ

Sometimes we need to celebrate the little things while we're stuck inside. It's been a rainy couple of days here but it'll bring some pretty green yards and flowers. You did a great job with this :)

A great short poem Yvette, good luck in the contest. You did indeed capture the essence of life itself. There is beauty all around us, if we but stop and take the time to realize what we are surrounded by. Great job.
