This is a very powerful testimony. This is the difference between those who are conscious and those who are unconscious. The unconscious never feel enough and need to fill that void with greed and egocentricity. The conscious are there for others.

I like this. The roll is under pressure, losing to many friends who seem to be in short supply as it is. I think that this is the end. Thanks for sharing this humorous and well written work. Well done!

I loved the idea of the toilet paper and what it might feel like to be the last roll. Hopefully, everyone is done hoarding toilet paper and the rest of the people can get some now.

Decent attempt. I liked the POV. There wasn't much else. By the way, I don't think 'greediness' is a word. it should be 'greed'.
All the best for the contest then! Keep writing. Cheers! :)

If I had a six for this, you'd be sporting it! This is GOLD, and I absolutely loved it. "Last Roll and Testament" - what a clever title, and what a clever way of personifying toilet rolls in the midst of so much, and TOO much seeeeriousness. I hope this wins! It's got my vote anyway. Good luck. I hope you don't end up drowning although the alternative is...well, DROWNING IN VOTES!

You've written an excellent humorous story for the flash contest.
The world will never be the same when the last roll is gone.
Excellent picture to match the words.
Well done
Good luck in the contest

Ah, and who would have believed our civilization would be laid low for a lack of toilet paper. A sad commentary.
I like your story. And I wish you good luck with the voters.
Peace, Lee
