This is a cute free verse poem. I like the title, "All that Glitters." The photo of happy gold fish fits your poem story. What a lovely poem about your fish to relax by in your small world? I have a beta fish called, Pepco that's in the aquarian by him/herself. Watching fish is really calming for me also. I enjoyed reading this poem with your descriptive words of color and the way you shared your piece. Your poem was nicely written with feeling and kept my interest to the end. No revisions I could see. Good job, Damommy. Thanks.

I have a pond that is very peaceful. It has goldfish, koi, and turtles. Thanks for reviewing.

Your free verse is in great style, Yvonne. I love your picture choice. Your words flow down the page just like little fish swimming in your pond. I read great use of s, b, & s alliteration, so some great details of the pond, and the great comparison of the little fish to gold bullions. I like the way you ended with the reflection of the birds overhead. That is a great way to cap this scene to recall it in its entirety. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, Jan

Hello Yvonne. Luster is a word I seldom hear these days. It evidently been relegated to more serene days when language wasn't so hard and words weren't so men.

Loved it, Yvonne. And that first word, "pondering" got me right in the mood for the glittering "pond." Your world is rich with the gold of the jeweled fish and the silver of the water which is a "glassy collage" covered with the lace of tree shadows! Just beautiful!
