Lovely and uplifting poem that springs with hope relating the bird songs and the beautiful new blooms that are coming. My daffodils are blooming - can't wait for the irises! Thanks for the cheerful poem!

A beautiful pitter-patter song, dear Diana. I sense Spring is late where you love, but will come with her dress in full array. She will, and with a flouncy hem.
Sending you my best today as always and blessings in Christ,

Yes, daffodils should be blooming soon! The buds are showing now on my maple tree! Had a little thunderstorm this morning and temps are not so bad. Still light jacket weather though. It must be beautiful now for you! xoxo

And what an uplifting spring it shall be. I love your poem, Diana as you have illustrated a few of the magical things the season brings. Your verse works well either literally or metaphorically.
A fine work and a pleasure to read and review this evening.

I enjoyed your spring poem, Diana. Your lines read smoothly. Your picture choice is beautiful, too. We usually have one or two days of spring then 7 months or so of summer. Today 93* yesterday 93*. I would not capitalize iris since it is the name of a flower not a person. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe. Respectfully, Jan
