I was shocked when I read that staunch climbers cling to the edge. I suppose it is quite a challenge to climb that height but it looks quite dangerous. Not a lot of foot room to manoeuvre. Thanks for sharing.

I have never seen The Breadknife nor that mountain range. It is interesting and beautiful. My ancestors are Welsh so I especially was struck by both the poem and photo.
Well done!

You did a great job with your contest entry, Mystery Author. Your picture is beautiful and dangerous looking for any attempt at climbing. Great job with the alliteration of s and c. Great job expressing this 'feeling' in the required syllable count. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Respectfully, Jan

Very interesting. I don't know that I have even seen words so well depicted in a landscape. The photo and verse are a perfect pairing. Good luck in the contest!

A fascinating write with good background notes about the picture here. Those climbers who risk their lives for the sake of the climb are brave and sometimes foolish, much enjoyed, love Dolly x
