This is one time that everyone can be a hero. A troubleing time that takes a special person, talent, job, to go one step beyond to help fellow man. Very nicely done for the challenge

JLR,

I like the way you paint the tumultuous times we live in, but it doesn't end there. We each have something to offer. When we give what we were created for, we each have the ability to emanate our own halo, for God's glory, of course.

Nice.

Patricia

There have been so many wonderful people out there doing things for those unable to help themselves. If this virus does nothing else but bring the goodness out in people, then that would be wonderful. It's so sad that it took something so dreadful to bring us all together. But, we have, and will continue to do so. That picture of the halo, that, to me is a sign that He is with us. Lovely poem, JLR! :)) Sandra xxx

Ideally we will all do our part, but his depends on our humanity. I like this ray of hope :"Look in the mirror, seek in your heart
that warm glow, the presence of God
under your softly shimmering halo."
Thank you for sharing and stay safe

We oftentimes see the wreckage and human casualties first, then the miracles that occured during it, afterwards. Humans that we are, it takes is awhile sometimes. I see it now more than ever as I am older and wiser. Sending you my best today for the lovely poem. Sal :)

JLR,
This is a lovely and touching poem. Yes, we have to do our part. We all have a Halo. We can pray for others which is free. It's how we choose to give, share and love with it. This is a trying and scary time in our world. We all need to give a hand to help others. In your first stanza, we should strive to be more Christ-like. As you said, we can TRY to give of our time and talents. I believe, "We reap what we sow." Being Kind is the key. Your image fits your poem. No errors that I see in your poem. I can see your aura in your poem!! Good job! Keep writing:-)
