I hope we will be drawn closer together, and that it will be long-lasting and not spring into division and hatred again. We should be helping people instead of hoarding. I shop at Kroger, and they are limiting the amount of bread and other items a person can buy in one visit. You make a good point about the satisfaction of helping others in need. Very appropriate thoughts for these times, and best of luck in the contest. judi

Finally! Skillful words about hoarding. I thought too about how we thank the Lord for our daily bread and God's people would get daily what they needed in the wilderness. And yet when we hoard one must ask, "Who do we trust for our provision. Those who tend to fill the storehouse, but not always, tend to be those who have a deep fear and a lack of trust in the creator. Then your poem extends that idea into giving to others. The act of kindness in a sense is further evidence you can share because God will supply our needs. Timely!

A very thoughtful poem about what is going on in our world today. It is truly quite frightening, but we must trust in God. If everyone would think of each other, as you have said, things would be so much easier. We live in Canada and of course going through the same thing. We are under quarantine for 14 days as we just returned from our winter getaway in Arizona. Wishing you good luck in the contest.
