How many of my friends are saying in ordinary words what you in your poem have expressed so well in your acrostic imaginative poem. I think women will be able to handle the isolation more readily than men but several of my women friends in retirement villages in lock down with no entertainment on the horizon for months and no partners to share with are
bored and dispirited. I think you poem hugely relevant and thank you for sharing. Take care.

Thank you for your nice review. These are challenging times for us all, with experiences we could have done without. However, I'm going to focus on the positive aspects of Americans pulling together to fight a common enemy. Maybe that will serve us well in the long run.

You know, Author, of all the sports out there, Golf sounds like one of the sports that would be fairly safe. You could play with a partner, walk the course and still stay a safe 10 feet from each other! Socialization and social distancing! ... not that I'd do it. My state's doing pretty well right now. #stayinghometohelp! :)

I'd believe golf to be fairly safe, but, in deference to my wife's wishes, I am just hitting balls in the yard and putting in the garage on a carpet. I am not so sure that she is that worried, but she has three (3) lists of things to do 1) outside the house 2) inside the house 3) on the RV. This is retirement? Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
