I had a daughter just like this so I wondered when I got half way through is it was not the reason. LOL I loved it and you worded it so perfectly. No mistakes noted

What a good boy, he couldn't help himself from throwing something, temptations sometime take a hold of all of us at times,, but Jimmy knew what absolute truth was, he may well be beheaded, but it will be for the truth, not a travesty of truth. Case dismissed on a technicality!

Every kid is a born lawyer when forced to look desperately for a loop hole in the law. You've done a great job of capturing this little scene we have probably all participated in. Mom always had the last word, however. :)

Cute story! Somehow I don't think that little technicality will get him out of trouble. Well written easy read that pulls the reader in right away, propels them through to the humorous end. Well done and luck with the contest!

Hello Janet. I believe I was caught in a similar situation about 60+ years ago. It was not vegetables, it was black board erasers. :) That's a funny story and a great entry for the contest. GOOD luck.

This was a very fun flash fiction! It had a very strong childlike innocence to it, which was a lot of fun to read! Hopefully Jimmy didn't get into too much trouble!
