A good poem for the contest! I ask everyone together and maybe pray!! It might help and add fuel to the fire!! Maybe God's trying to tell us something. Maybe we better listen!

This twenty-five-word poem, An Eye Witness Account, has the right word count and romances the passage of the solar giant through the day.

You have certainly made excellent, appealing use of all of your words in this poem of vivid description and awe-inspiring imagery. The artwork
gives the poem enhances meaning, conveying how a child looks at the beauties and mysteries of nature.

This is a very good writing on sunrises and sunsets both of which can come or go with brilliant colors. I have seen the sun go down as a huge "pizza pie" size. Just gorgeous.

This is both a sad and lovely poem, and very well written. It amazes me that 25 words can portray an entire picture and the feelings that go along with it. The image you chose is superb, and truly complements your writing. Best of luck in the contest!

Wow, that is so beautifully said. I love the vocabulary choices and how perfectly they work. Also, the image fits the poem perfectly. All in all, I really enjoyed reading it.

This is kind of a perceptive point of view poem...
OK, right off the bat I think the earth is flat, and that is afar as I usually take it... I know Nasa and all that stuff... To me it makes perfect sense that it, "lets say, is not what they say it is."

Alright, Poem is a visible visual, has me looking up towards the hilltop, then plants me there just like in the picture you chose...
chasing the sun as she flew, '{'see the sun is moving not the earth... tee hee '}
Then on Blues ceiling did she slide... Such a graceful line... Really, really nice.
On cue is Perfect... I liked this Poem of yours.... bill

    Oh my goodness, Hager, you just put a smile on my face amidst all this craziness!! ;) ;) But it has to end soon, yeah? Everything I do has been (is being) converted to online... see? High School students can't afford to lose ground so we're plowing forward with YouTube and more even when the lower schools are 'encouraging enrichment activities'... but what a hassle!! ;) Just give me a good ole fashion classroom any day!! ;) You take care and I promise we'll be laughing at this some day!! ;) Thank you for your wonderful comments and for those bright, shiny stars!! :) May you find some brightness in the days ahead - be sure to get some fresh air out there and stop by again sometimes! Take care! ;) Yvette

Delightfully fresh. Such whimsical imagery. Hilltops chasing the sun, sliding on the ceiling, falling on cue. This was a pleasure to read. Can't believe I'm getting paid to boot. Cheers. LIZ

Right??!! ;) ;) Thank you for your wonderful comments and for those bright, shiny stars!! :) May you find some brightness and fresh air in your weekend ahead - take care! ;) Yvette

An Eyewitness Account

Hello my friend

Good word count. The presentation is beautiful. A poem about the sunset. You paint a beautiful picture with your words. Well done.
