In just three lines this cleverly rhyming poem captures the spirit of magic. Nouns...'starlight,' 'midnight,' 'spells,' add to the overall tone of mystery. I love the glamorous witch. Unfortunately missed voting on this one but poetically, in my estimation, 'A Touch of Magic,' was a winner.

Oh, I'm so glad you enjoyed, gingermo - sorry I'm so far behind! Being a teacher amidst this craziness has been lots more work than just showing up and lecturing!! ;) LOL! Thanx for stopping by - be sure to do so again sometime! ;) Yvette

It's true that mystery begets more mystery and what could be more beguiling or mysterious than midnight? Nicely composed in a few words. Good luck in the contest. Marilyn

This 2-4-6, The Right Touch of Magic, has the proper formatting and suggests that the time of the chant is as important as utterance of the spell.

Thank you.

You create a nice mood with your twelve syllables. I guess you could say that your words cast a nice spell on your readers. The artwork contributes nicely to the overall effect.
Well done. I wouldn't be surprised if this one wins.

Simple and ominous, perfect vibes for spellcrafting.
The accompanying visual--while neat--has minimal impact due to the fact that the poem is about starlight but the sky in the visual is overcast with no visible stars.

Oh, how about a spell at midnight to set the world right again? Perhaps it's a touch of magic we need. We just need to learn how to do it. Good luck in the contest.

A very well-written 2-4-6 poem about the touch of magic when all the elements work together in the starlight it will lends a certain might to the spells cast at midnight.

Beautiful choice of artwork. It definitely goes with the poem. Nice poem. It flows easily and I like the rhyme. I liked the phrase "certain might". For some reason, that phrase itself seems powerful.
