A marvelous acrostic. I also love this form, but you remain upbeat within, even with this beast that is consuming our anxiety realm at this time. I love it. Change nothing.

One of my favorite words is peruse. I am a vocab junkie!

Thank you so much! What would we do without poetry???
I have been anxious and I worry about others who have worse anxiety. Thanks for this nice surprise this morning!
    Hugs!

Celebrating World Poetry Day seems an apt thing to do. Paying tribute to the genre that helps words be composed that become inspirational to others and are sometimes the catalyst to success, is a wonderful gesture.

The author's words clear, descriptive and creative. The reader
found this poem to acknowledge all that we are experiences today.
And how current topics engage us to write today. The poem flows
and connects well. Be well and stay safe. Thank you.........

A very well-written acrostic about world poetry day that is an important day for poets to get some recognising for their effort to try and make some sense of the chaotic world.

Yes, the poet is ready with an opinion in poetry form and fashion. We can put many thoughts upon the page and make it sound good, proving a point or provoking deep thoughts. A fine acrostic, dear Tina, and response to the challenge.
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xoxo

Excellent contribution to the PIX This Club, Tina. I always get a charge seeing how different poets respond to the prompt. An acrostic is a fine idea!

Yes, escaping through poetry is always a good idea.

Great job always and many thanks to you for sharing. :)

A lovely Acrostic for World Poetry Day -Delivering joy on a page -
that's a lovely way of describing one of the things poets try to do, to share, especially essential in these days. Enjoyed,
cheers.

Hi Tina. You've done a great job on this post for the club. Your acrostic is timely and well written. I particularly like the line, "Delivering joy on a page." Marilyn

I liked the rhythm and flow of your poem - not easy to achieve in the acrostic form. You made it sound very natural. Poetry is the place to find commentary on all aspects of being human and what we are subjected to, both good and bad. "Yet hope's still alive if we choose."... I hope we choose wisely and stay well.

Hi Tina, great poem to celebrate Poetry Day. I enjoyed reading it twice. The "Y" in Yet is not bolded... no biggie. I look forward to seeing more poetry from you!

Just before I posted, I looked at the Y and I hit bold again...I think I un-bolded it! Thanks for letting me know! I will fix it. I appreciate you reading it!
